Tiger girls drop road game

FT. MADISON — The New London girls’ basketball team had trouble handling a tough Holy Trinity team on Tuedsay night. The Crusaders held the Tigers to single digits in the first three quarters and ran away with a 58-28 win.

New London trailed 10-6 after the first quarter and 28-11 at halftime. They couldn’t steal any of the four quarters in the loss.

Alisha Boles led the way for New London with 11 points. Kara Kreiger had eight. Layney Loyd scored seven, and Addie Pry had two.

New London dropped to 0-4 with the loss. They’ll have a shot to get their first win tonight (Thursday) when they travel to Cardinal for another SEISC South Division game.
