OSKALOOSA — The Mt. Pleasant bowling teams competed in Oskaloosa on Saturday. Both teams lost, with the boys scoring a 2,161 and the girls scoring 2,062.
The boys’ team was led by Levi Mills, who rolled a 361. Mills scored 203 in his first game and 158 in his second. Ethan Oilar was second on the team, rolling a 153 and 164 to finish at 317.
Logan White finished the meet at 300, rolling a 153 and a 147. Kalib Wilson rolled a 120 and a 128 to score 248. Mark Steinhoff rolled 96 and 108 to end the day at 204, and Owen Steinhoff rolled a 113 and an 86 to finish at 199.
Baker games for the Mt. Pleasant boys went 147, 121, 111, 129 and 124.
The girls’ team was led by Alexis Wohlleber. She rolled a 158 and a 145 to finish out at 302. Gillian Anderson was second on the team with a 280, bowling a 124 and a 156.
Medow Jensen rolled a 266, rolling a 139 and a 127. Tylisa Kelley went 110 and 157 to score a 247. Danna Wilson rolled a 104 and a 135 to score 239, and Alouny Phosy rolled a 123 and a 101 to finish the day at 224.
The Panther bowlers had their meet at Keokuk on Tuesday night canceled due to bad weather. They will be in Cedar Rapids for the state qualifying meet.
