Ft. Madison woman cited for marijuana possession

A woman from Ft. Madison was found to be in possession of a controlled substance when she was stopped by a deputy with the Henry County Sheriff’s Office on May 30, around 2 a.m.

Paige Parker, 21, of Ft. Madison, was stopped by a deputy near the intersection of Burky Lane and Cherry Street in Mt. Pleasant on May 30. During the investigation into the traffic stop, it was discovered that she was in possession of a controlled substance.

Parker was cited into court for possession of a controlled substance, marijuana, first offense.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
