A two-vehicle car accident in Mt. Pleasant left three people in the hospital with minor injuries Wednesday, Nov. 7.
Caleb Fluharty, of Mt. Pleasant, was drivinga 2007 Chevrolet westbound on Monroe Street when he failed to stop at a stop sign. Fluharty hit a 2003 Ford driven by Emily Housh, of Bonapart, as she was driving southbound on Grand Avenue.
Fluharty was issued a citation for failure to obey a stop sign. Three people were taken to the Henry County Health Center by ambulance for minor injuries and later released.
Damage to both vehicles was estimated to be $10,000.
The Mt. Pleasant Police Department responded to the accident.
