This week’s friend is Trev White, who currently works as a micro scheduler at Innovairre.
Are you originally from Mt. Pleasant/Henry County? If not, what brought you here? I grew up in Rome, got tired of the big city so I moved to Mt. Pleasant.
What is your favorite local hangout? I’m kind of a homebody, but Butch’s at Oakland Mills is a favorite of mine.
What do you like to do in your free time? Coaching my daughter’s softblal team, and watching my son play golf and baseball.
What is your favorite summer activity? Planning and going on vacation. Las Vegas is usually the destination.
What is one thing you’ve not tried that you would like to? I would like to travel out of the country at some point.
Is there something Mt. Pleasant doesn’t have that you’d like to see? An indoor practice facility for Panther athletes.
What do you think is Mt. Pleasant/Henry County’s trademark? Iowa Wesleyan University.
What’s one dish or drink that reminds you of Mt. Pleasant? That’s easy: Butch’s Tenderloin is top flight.
Tell us something interesting about you? My wife and I were high school sweethearts who met while working at Buns and Company Restaurant in 1988. We’ve been together since then.
