Are you originally from Mt. Pleasant/Henry County? If not, what brought you here? No, teaching brought me to Mt. Pleasant.
What is your favorite part of living here? My favorite part of living here is the community. People support each other here.
What is your favorite local hangout? Either the high school gym or Mapleleaf. I enjoy watching my students participate in anything.
What do you like to do in your free time? I spend my free time with my daughter, Addie.
What is your favorite winter activity? Watching Christmas movies and ice skating.
What is one thing you’ve not tried that you would like to? Paddle boarding.
Is there something Mt. Pleasant doesn’t have that you’d like to see? A dog park.
What do you think is Mt. Pleasant/Henry County’s trademark? Old Threshers.
What’s one dish or drink that reminds you of Mt. Pleasant? Coasta’s chicken pita deluxe.
Tell us something interesting about you? I ran on the Hannibal-LaGrange University cross-country and track-and-field teams. I ran mid-distance (800, 1500) and distance (3K, 5K, 10K, half-marathon).
