InMotion recognized for costuming and direction

Mt. Pleasant High School’s show choir, InMotion, took second place in a Benton High School competition on Saturday, Feb. 9. They were also noted for their costuming and direction.
GTNS photo by Isaac Hamlet Mt. Pleasant High School’s show choir, InMotion, took second place in a Benton High School competition on Saturday, Feb. 9. They were also noted for their costuming and direction.

Mt. Pleasant High School’s show choir InMotion sang and danced their way to second place Saturday at the Touch of Class competition at Benton Community High School. InMotion also received a caption award from the judges for Best Costumes. Mt. Pleasant won the People’s Choice award and InMotion’s director Marlene DePriest was named Most Amazing Director through a Twitter poll.

InMotion will be traveling to Pella on Feb. 16 for the Dutch Masters Invitational. They are scheduled to perform at 4:55 p.m.
