Are you originally from Mt. Pleasant/Henry County? If not, what brought you here? I have lived in Southeast Iowa my entire life. My dad lived near Winfield during World War II.
What is your favorite part of living here? Great people and a great place to live and raise a family.
What is your favorite local hangout? The Chamber, City Hall and Wickham Vet Clinic.
What do you like to do in your free time? Spend time on the farm and be with my family.
Is there an annual event in Mt. Pleasant/Henry County that you enjoy? Old Threshers and the Christmas lights.
What is your favorite winter activity? Feeding cattle in the winter. I have always enjoyed it.
What do you think is Mt. Pleasant/Henry County?s trademark? It?s businesses that are thriving and the great people that live in Henry County.
What?s one dish or drink that reminds you of Mt. Pleasant? Pink lemonade. I had my first one at Old Threshers many years ago.
Tell us something interesting about you? Married to a great wife ? Tanessa, with five kids ages six to 16. I have seven brothers and sisters and we all live within an hour of each other.
