Winfield-Mt. Union softball team shut out by Highland at home

WINFIELD ? The Winfield-Mt. Union softball team suffered a 6-0 loss to Highland in SEISC North Division play on Monday night. The Wolves committed seven errors in the game and the offense couldn?t get rolling.

Madie Anderson gave up just two hits over seven innings of work. She struck out 13 batters. Anderson had two hits of her own, going 2-3 to record half of W-MU?s four hits.

The Wolves are on the road tonight (Tuesday) for another conference game. They?ll be at Iowa Mennonite for a game starting at 6 p.m.
