Weather concerns moves WACO and W-MU games up

The first full Friday of Henry County football may be marred by some inclimate weather, and due to concerns about potential storms around Iowa Valley, WACO?S Road game tonight has been moved up one hour.

The Warriors will kick off at 6 p.m. tonight as they look to go 2-0 to start the season. WACO players will leave school today (Friday) at 3 p.m., to head up for the game.

Winfield-Mt. Union will also be moved up one hour, to 6 p.m. The Wolves are playing in their first eight-man game of the season.

As of press time, New London and Mt. Pleasant are both set to start at their regular time, but weather could play a factor in all four games tonight.

New London has a kickoff time of 7 p.m. Mt. Pleasant will start their season at 7:30 p.m.
