W-MU baseball team falls to Wapello at home

The Winfield-Mt. Union baseball team had a rough outing in their home game against Wapello on Monday night. The Wolves fell 15-0 in four innings in a SEISC North Division game.

Wapello scored in all four innings. The Indians scored six runs in the first, three in the second, five in the third and one in the fourth. Wapello pitchers Logan Belzer and Brenton Ross combined for a two-hit shutout.

W-MU will be right back home tonight (Wednesday) at 5:30 p.m. The Wolves will take on Burlington Notre Dame in a SEISC cross-over game.
