Southeast Iowa army reserves planning reunion for former soldiers from 1948 to present

A reunion of former members of four U.S. Army Reserve Units in Southeast Iowa dating back to 1948 to present is being planned to take place in September 2019. The Planning Committee for the reunion is seeking information on former members including current mailing addresses, phone numbers, email addresses and names of spouses.

The date in September and the location of the reunion will be announced soon.

Former soldiers who served in the following reserve units are welcome to attend: Btry C, 438th AAA Bn, 103D Coscom, Mt. Pleasant (1948--May 1959): CO B, 495th Engineer Battalion, Mt. Pleasant (May 1959--July1976); Headquarters, 495th Engineer Battalion, Middletown (May 1959--July 1976); and CO C, 389th Engineer Battalion, Middletown (1976 to present).

The reunion committee is urgently looking for information from members of these reserve units.

The next planning meeting is Sept. 21 at 10 a.m. at the Veterans Hall at 300 W. Monroe Street in Mt. Pleasant. Anyone who served in one of the above reserve units is welcome to attend and help with planning the reunion.
