Panther Profile: Brittany Triska

Brittany Triska is a senior at Mt. Pleasant High School and a member of the Panther bowling team. She is one of two seniors who have bowled for the varsity girls this season. Triska has also played softball for Mt. Pleasant.

She met with The News on Wednesday evening. The questions will be listed in bold with her answers following.

Did you grow up in Mt. Pleasant? Yes.

When did you start bowling? I started bowling last year.

What made you want to join the high school team? I wanted to go out for it because I love bowling. It?s a nice sport.

Do you have plans for after high school? Working.

Do you remember what your highest score ever has been? My highest score was a 280.

Do you have any nicknames? Yeah, my mom calls me ?Brickle.?

How long has she been calling you that? Since I was seven.

Where would you go if you could travel anywhere in the world? I would go to Kansas City, Kansas. I like that place a lot. My family and I went there for vacation and my dad got to drive a NASCAR.

Are you a big NASCAR fan? Yeah.

Do you have a favorite driver? My favorite drivers are Jeff Gordon and Danica Patrick.

Do you have a favorite movie or TV show? My favorite TV show is ?Walker, Texas Ranger.?

That one came out a while back! How?d you get into watching that? I?ve watched that since I was little.

We ask this to everybody. If you could spend the day with one celebrity, who would you choose? I?m gonna say George Strait.

What would you guys do? Probably go somewhere to go out to eat.

Do you have a favorite song of his? I don?t remember what the song is called, but it?s a morning song.

What if you could pick a superpower to have? Flying.

Would you fly anywhere specific? I would like to fly to Hawaii.

In honor of the season, what is the best Christmas present you have ever received? I would say a teddy bear my parents got me.

Who is your favorite teacher? Mrs. Newman.

Why do you you like her? Because, when I show up at school every morning I see her smile and laughing all the time. She makes me laugh, too.

Do you have any shout outs? My team.
