KEOKUK ? The Mt. Pleasant girls? track and field team strutted their stuff at the Keossippi Relays in Keokuk on Tuesday evening. The Panthers won the meet with 189 points, finishing 56 points ahead of second-place Clark County, Mo.
Mt. Pleasant had a handful of wins on the night, including a couple of one-two finishes. Abby Ryon (10:46) and Taylor Murray (11:45) finished first and second respectively in the 3000-meter run. Lexie Magnani (38-04.50) and Grace Bittle (36-01.50) went one-two in the shot put.
Serenity Keomanivong took first in the 100-meter hurdles, crossing the tape in 16.03 seconds. Murray won the 800-meter run in 2:28.38, and Maggie Cristoforo won the 400-meter hurdles in 1:08.40.
Lyndi Vantiger won the long jump with a leap of 16-05.50. The 4x800 team took first in 10:30.63, and the shuttle hurdle relay team won the event with a time of 1:10.68.
