Pamela J. Wilson, 67, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at the Great River Hospice House in West Burlington.
Pamela was born on August 3, 1950, in Ottumwa, Iowa the daughter of Jim and Helen Mitchell. She was united in marriage to David Wilson on July 25, 1970; they later divorced. Pamela was a very caring, loving person who cared for many people while working at Henry County Health Center, Pleasant Manor Care Center, Henry County Home and Park Place all of Mt. Pleasant. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren, as they were very important to her. Pamela enjoyed listening to country music, watching football and her cats.
She is survived by her children, Phil (Cherish) Wilson of New London and Mickey Wilson of Mt. Pleasant; three grandchildren: Maxwell, Chase and Payton; one brother, Jim Mitchell; one sister, Steph Swanson; along with nieces and nephews.
Pamela was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Janice Frances.
According to her wishes cremation has been entrusted to the Murphy Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 21, 2018 from 10-11 a.m. at the Murphy Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at the Forest Home Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant. Memorials may be directed to Great River Hospice in her memory.
