RIVERSIDE ? The New London golf teams flexed their muscles against a couple of Southeast Iowa Super Conference foes on Tuesday in Riverside. The Tigers swept both the boys? and the girls? triangulars against the hosting Highland Huskies and Danville.
The girls put together yet another dominant performance. New London finished the day at 180, finishing 48 strokes ahead of second-place Danville (228). Highland placed third with a 261.
The boys? team shot a 174 on the day, which won by 13 strokes over Danville (187). The Highland boys shot a 227.
The Tiger girls? team was led again by Casey Noble. She shot a two-under 38, winning individual medalist honors by nine strokes.
Addie Pry and Summer Mallot finished in a tie for second place. Both Tiger golfers finished the day with a 47.
Jaden Streeter rounded out the New London scorers with a final mark of 48. Carlie Loyd shot a 50, and Hannah Ortberg finished the day at 64. New London had the top five individual scores of the day.
The Tiger boys were led by Clayton Phillips. He shot a 41, which gave him individual medalist honors by three strokes.
New London had five of the top six scores on the boys? side. Justin and Gabe Carter each finished at 44. Alex Dentlinger and Gavin Prottsman both finished at 45. Javis Krieger placed sixth on the team with a 50.
