MPCHS show choir InMotion takes second at invitational Saturday

Mt. Pleasant Community High School?s show choir InMotion placed second among eight groups competing in Class 3A on Saturday, Feb. 10, at the Touch of Class Invitational at Benton Community High School in Van Horne.

InMotion?s director Marlene DePriest was voted Best Director through a poll conducted on Twitter during the event.

MPCHS will be competing again on Saturday, Feb. 17, at Pella High School for the Dutch Masters Invitational with 21 ensembles participating. The scheduled performance time for InMotion is 4:55 p.m.
