To the editor:
I am an avid fan of the Mt. Pleasant bike trail system. I walk every day for the exercise and to connect with nature.
I read about the dog altercation at the East Lake Park trail. I have been confronted by dogs twice in the month of January at the East Lake Park trail. Both times the dog owners were with their dogs, but the dogs were not on a leash. Both times I requested the owners to get control of their dogs, and they were unable to stop their dogs from their aggressive behavior.
What is it going to take to get control of these dogs so that ?people? can enjoy East Lake Park?
