BURLINGTON ? The Notre Dame boys? golf team held their yearly invitational tournament on Tuesday morning and both Mt. Pleasant and Winfield-Mt. Union were in attendance. The Wolves placed second with a team score of 333, which was 15 strokes back from first-place Central Lee. Mt. Pleasant finished fourth with a score of 344.
Kaleb Hagge topped the field to lead W-MU to the silver. Hagge shot a 73 on the day to win the individual tournament by four strokes. Nolan Ross shot an 61 for W-MU, tying for sixth individually.
Graham Hagge finished in a tie for 17th with a final shot total of 89. Jarod Kadel tied for 19th with a 90. Kash Rossiter shot a 97 to tie for 32nd, and Noah Freeman placed 41st with a 104.
Trace White led Mt. Pleasant with an 82, which put him in eighth-place overall. Jake Moffett was one stroke behind White, shooting an 83, which tied him for ninth.
Rhett Zeglen finished the day at 87, placing 13th overall. Bailey Shelledy shot a 92 to tie for 24th place. Brevin Wilson finished at 102, which tied him for 38th, and Austin Buckert placed 40th with a shot total of 103.
