Freshman Panthers fall in Pella

PELLA ? The Mt. Pleasant freshman football team fell 36-0 in Pella last night. The Panthers had a tough time containing a talented Dutch running game.


Carson Coleman was 7-16 in the loss with 50 yards passing. Mitchell Moothart had 28 rushing yards on four attempts. Dylan Hagans had 12 yards on nine attempts, and Dalton Church led the recievers with four catches for 31 yards.


Levi Graber had six tackles to lead the defense. Samuel Carrasco finished the day with five tackles, and Sawyer Carrasco had four.


There will be no freshman game tonight for homecoming, which means the varsity game should easily start on time, at 7:30 p.m.
