FAIRFIELD ? Mt. Pleasant senior point guard Brady Sartorius reached a career milestone in the Panthers? win over Fairfield on Friday night.
Sartorius hit 1,500 points in the third quarter against the Trojans. He also became the second leading scorer in Mt. Pleasant boys? basketball history.
The top spot in Mt. Pleasant in school history belongs to Earl Nau, who played for the Panthers in the 1950s. He had 1,940 points in his career.
Sartorius still has plenty of time to gain ground on Nau, although the top spot is still a bit out of reach. After their win over Mt. Vernon on Saturday, the Panthers have eight more regular season games to go.
