Bowling team hosts home triangular

The Mt. Pleasant bowling team hosted Keokuk and Ottumwa in a home triangular on Thursday evening. The panther boys rolled a 2,438 and the girls rolled a 2,121.


The boys were led by Mark Steinhoff, who rolled a 164 in his first game and a 181 his second game to finish at 345. Ethan Oilar rolled a 182 and a 158 to finish at 340. Levi Mills rolled a 161 and a 158 to score 319. Sam Anderson had a 162 and a 152 for a final score of 314, and Brandon Parton rolled a 123 and a 168 to finish at 291.


Baker games for the varsity boys went 137, 186, 149, 170 and 172 for a total of 814.


The girls were led by Gillian Anderson, who rolled a 195 and a 136 to score 331. Emily Shumaker was also over 300, rolling a 146 and a 170 to finish at 316.


Alexis Wohlleber rolled a 125 and a 164 for a final score of 289. Kelsey Hummell rolled a 148 and a 128 to finish at 276, and Tylisa Kelley rolled a 122 and a 118 for a final score of 240.


Baker games for the varsity girls went 136, 144, 125, 140 and 124 for a final score of 669.


Mason Pounsavan led the junior varsity boys with a 278. Kalib Wilson rolled a 257. Bayron Lopez had a 224. Payton Loval rolled a 209. Alex Hedgecock finished at 201 and Ben Baccam rolled a 136.


Baker games for the JV boys went 124, 109, 129, 80 and 91.


Meadow Jensen rolled a 247 to lead the JV girls. Rachel Kuckes was behind Jensen with a 190.


Baker games for Jensen and Kuckes finished at 78, 95, 149, 110 and 108 for a final score of 540.
