The high school volleyball coaches of Southeast Iowa selected their picks for the Southeast Iowa All-Star Volleyball Classic last week, and Mt. Pleasant senior Kalynn Batey was selected to the team.
Batey stepped up as the top hitter on the Panther team this year, tallying over 200 kills to finish third in the Southeast Conference.
The senior outside hitter also has 12 kills in the lone Mt. Pleasant postseason win to lead the team.
The Southeast Iowa Volleyball Classic includes players from all classes in the area, competing in an exhibition game to show their skills.
The game will take place at Fairfield High School and is set to begin on Saturday, Nov. 4, at 7 p.m.
